PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating implement in which without making the mass and the number of stirrers too large, the stirrers buried in a cake can be easily slipt out, and a stirring effect on the coating liquid is large. SOLUTION: In the coating implement wherein a spherical coating body is rotatably held under a condition where a part of the spherical coating body is exposed from the tip of a chip, and this chip is fitted into a central hole of a front opening connected with a coating liquid tank, and a highly viscous film-formable coating liquid is filled in the coating liquid tank, two stirrers and a spacer consisting of a metal pipe are arranged in the coating liquid tank, and the two stirrers are separated from each other by the spacer. There exists no possibility of burying this spacer over its whole length with a cake formed in the lower part of the coating liquid tank by leaving the coating implement for a long time under a perpendicular posture.
