IRIS IMAGING CAMERA AND IRIS AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris imaging camera capable of quickly imaging an iris image for iris authentication with a simple configuration without bothering a person to be authenticated.

SOLUTION: An imaging optical system 11 of an iris imaging camera 10 is provided with a common optical axis in a region where the iris as a subject is located, and a first and a second branch optical axes branched from the common optical axis. The imaging optical system 11 is provided with a plurality of focusing areas which are mutually displaced on the common axis for each first and second branch optical path passing through respective first and second branch optical axes. Iris image data imaged by passing through the first and second branch optical paths is generated by an imaging element 12 and an image processing part 13.
