PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-lift pump capable of maintaining stable water transfer amount and a septic tank equipped with the air-lift pump. SOLUTION: This air-lift pump is equipped with a lifting pipe having an inlet and an outlet, an air supply pipe feeding air into inside of the lifting pipe, a first storage box storing liquid flowing out of the outlet of the lifting pipe, and a second storage box to which liquid stored in the first storage box is transferred. The first storage box has a water transfer opening positioned on a bottom part of a wall face contacting the second storage box, and a return opening provided on a wall face other than the wall face provided with the water transfer opening and returning liquid to a tank provided with the inlet of the lifting pipe.
