PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recording apparatus from being influenced by a length of a discharge opening array of a recording head, and by a transfer amount of a recording medium according to a recording operation, and moreover to prevent manufacturing cost of the recording apparatus from mounting. SOLUTION: After the recording medium P' finished with a part of printing is transferred to the paper discharge side, the recording medium is stopped for a predetermined period of time.
