PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional wireless communication device wherein since the electric energy being suppressed is only the difference of transmission power at the time of transmission, data transmission power and waiting power of the wireless communication device, and operating power of a terminal itself are not reduced. SOLUTION: In the power saving method of a communication terminal connected with a network, its own terminal makes a decision whether the packet of other terminal connected with the network is required to be transferred, and stops a partial function of its own terminal if it is not required, thereby saving on power.
