PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity control material for a noxious-insect-repellent house, which enables humidity in an underfloor space to be appropriately controlled by absorbing underfloor moisture in a high-humidity season and reversely desorbing moisture in a low-humidity season, and which can constantly maintain a comfortable living environment by having the property of being repellent to noxious insects such as a termite and a house tick. SOLUTION: This humidity control material is constituted by making a moisture absorbing/adsorbing base material 2, into which a hinoki cypress wood powder 4 is mixed, formed in a required shape and solidified.
