<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that provides for good operability for installation in view of the fact that a wall hole cut in a place where indoor equipment is installed could take a variety of positions, which translate into various kinds of connections between a ventilator positioned in the indoor equipment and an air duct guided outdoors via the wall hole. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: the indoor equipment having a heat exchanger, a ventilator positioned alongside the heat exchanger, and a ventilation duct provided on the back of the heat exchanger; and the air duct that connects the indoor equipment to the outside. A first adapter for connecting the ventilator to the ventilation duct, three kinds of second adapters for connecting the ventilation duct to the air duct, and three kinds of third adapters for connecting the ventilator to the air duct are included in the main body of the air conditioner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
