ANTI-HIV COMPOUND AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new anti-HIV (antihuman immunodeficiency virus) compound having a different mechanism of actions from that of a conventional drug, and to provide a medicine and a functional food using the compound.

SOLUTION: The anti-HIV compound comprises a compound represented by formula (1) as an active ingredient. The anti-HIV agent exhibits a new mechanism of actions such as inhibiting/suppressing of extranuclear migration of Rev proteins of HIV and is useful as the medicine and further the functional food.
