摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a ceramic electronic component by which liquid is prevented from intruding into a hole of a ceramic element in a wet polishing process and the ceramic electronic component can efficiently be manufactured, and to provide the highly reliable ceramic electronic component manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: In a mask creating device, the hole of the ceramic element after sintering is filled with inorganic powder, wet barrel polishing is performed and the invasion of liquid to the hole of the ceramic element in the wet barrel polishing process is restricted and prevented. Inorganic powder which is formed of one type selected from a group formed of alumina powder, zirconia powder, copper powder and nickel powder, and whose average particle diameter is smaller than that of the hole of the ceramic element is used as inorganic powder.
