PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve lift variable device capable of attaining miniaturization, by compatibly establishing assemblability and torsional rigidity. SOLUTION: This valve lift variable device of an internal combustion engine has a rocker arm 4 having a tappet screw 17 and a roller follower 5, an upper link member 7 having one end pivoted on an upper part of the rocker arm and having the other end pivoted on an engine body, a lower link member 9 having one end pivoted on a crank pin part 12 of a crank member 11 supported by the engine body and having the other end pivoted on a lower part of the rocker arm, and a control arm 18 for applying torque of a predetermined angle range to a crankshaft part 14 supported by the engine body of the crank member; and changes a lift quantity of the rocker arm in response to rotation of a cam, by moving one end of a second link member pivoted at the crank pin part by rotating the crank member.
