PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively miniaturize a shaft dimension of a tooth-profile with flange formed part while keeping the necessary effective tooth-length. SOLUTION: This tooth-profile with flange formed part is constituted so that a work 10 is press-formed (plastically worked) from a steel plate and a tooth-profile peak part 20 is formed in a cylindrical part of the work 10 by setting the work 10 in a pressing apparatus provided with metallic molds composed of a punch and a die and also, a portion of the work 10 containing the edge part 20-2 in the tooth-profile peak part 20 corresponding to the approaching part of the tooth-profile part in the metallic mold is cut off at least for the thickness up to the tooth-bottom of the tooth-profile peak part 20 to form as the thin part and on the other hand, the edge part 20-2A cut-off of the tooth-profile peak part 20 is perfectly formed as tooth-profile. The thin part is bent by using a position P as the starting point to form as the flange part 22 and also, the flange part 22 is oppositely positioned while approximating to or being in contact with the edge part 20-2A perfectly formed as the tooth-profile of the the tooth-profile peak part 20.
