AUXILIARY INJECTION DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND CONTROLLER OF AUXILIARY FUEL INJECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase cold startability in an internal combustion engine having a variable intake tube length system.

SOLUTION: This auxiliary fuel injection device comprises two surge tanks 100 partitioned by a wall surface 105, a butterfly type open/close valve 102 for switching the two surge tanks 100 between communication and non-communication, and an auxiliary fuel injection valve 101 injecting an auxiliary fuel in the reverse direction of the flow direction of an intake air in the surge tanks 100. The butterfly type open/close valve 102 comprises a valve plate surface closing an opening part opened in a surge tank wall surface 105 and a rotating shaft rotating the the valve plate surface. The auxiliary fuel injection valve 101 comprises two injection holes communicating with each other which inject the auxiliary fuel in the direction of the valve plate surface of the butterfly type open/close valve 102 and in the direction of the surge tank wall surfaces 105.
