<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a retraction amount of a brake pedal and a retraction amount of a steering wheel at the time of front collision of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A brake device 1 for the vehicle is equipped with a pedal box 5 which is installed on an approximately vertically extending partition panel 4 and pivots the brake pedal 3. The brake device 1 disposes an electric motor 7 of a power steering device so as to contact to the brake pedal 3 retracting at the time of front collision of the vehicle to receive a load from the brake pedal 3 by the electric motor 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
