PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein identifying apparatus of high resolving power capable of performing a high-throughput analysis using a trace of a sample, and provide a protein identifying method. SOLUTION: This measuring method for identifying protein is constituted by separating and refining many kinds of proteins to perform an analysis of an amino acid sequence and includes a process for separating a sample, which is obtained by segmentalizing sample protein, into peptides by a free-flow electrophoretic method; a process for separating fractionated samples separated and fractionated by a liquid chromatographic method; and a process for applying the respective fractionated and separated samples to a mass analyzing unit to obtain the mass analysis data of the sample protein.
