PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ignition device not requiring the wiring work for squibs necessarily corresponding to their number when a plurality of squibs are installed. SOLUTION: The ignition device 10 including a plurality of squibs 11-14 in parallel connections is furnished with a plurality of resonance frequency circuits 15-18 connected with the squibs 11-14 and having resonance frequency different from a circuit containing other squibs, and when an optional squib is to be fired, a current is fed which has the same frequency as the resonance frequency of the resonance frequency circuit to be connected with the desired squib.
