摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control device and a starting method of an evaporator for a fuel cell capable of suppressing thermal stress when starting. <P>SOLUTION: The evaporator 1 having a low-temperature fluid flow passage 1c wherein low-temperature fluid flows and a high-temperature fluid flow passage 1h wherein high-temperature fluid flows is provided, and a freeze determining means for determining whether freeze is generated inside the evaporator 1 or not is provided. A temperature setting means for setting temperature range of the defrosting fluid on the basis of the temperature of the evaporator 1 is provided, and a temperature adjusting means heater 10 for adjusting temperature of the defrosting fluid in the temperature range set by the temperature setting means is provided. When starting with a probability that freeze is generated inside the evaporator 1, after releasing seal of the flow passage by making the defrosting fluid, of which temperature is adjusted, flow to the evaporator 1, the low-temperature fluid is made to flow, and thereafter, the high-temperature fluid is made to flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
