PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the driving circuit of a paper sheet discriminating sensor for suppressing magnetic mutual interference between magnetic sensors even when a plurality of the magnetic sensors are installed. SOLUTION: A sensor driving circuit 1 having two or more paper sheet discriminating sensors (magnetic heads S<SB>1</SB>to S<SB>8</SB>) which are adjacently arranged in a direction orthogonal to a direction where paper sheets are conveyed is provided with a sensor driving means (transistors Tr<SB>1</SB>to Tr<SB>4</SB>) supplying AC signals from a power supply circuit 2 to the paper sheet discriminating sensors as excitation signals and a sensor switching means (switching transistors SWTr<SB>1</SB>to SWTr<SB>4</SB>) performing on/off-switching of the paper sheet discriminating sensors for the respective paper sheet discriminating sensors. A switch control means (switch timing control part 11) transmitting a control signal controlling supply timing of the AC signal from the power supply circuit, which is supplied to the paper sheet discriminating sensor, to the sensor switching means is disposed in the sensor driving circuit 1.
