PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stored type folding chair adjustable in fitting width and placeable in a narrow vestibule or the like. SOLUTION: Recessed part side base members 9, 11 are fixed to a wooden frame 115, and a chair body 11 is put in a housing recessed part 113. Bolts 33 are passed through elongate holes 31 and round holes 15, and nuts are mounted to obtain a loosely fastened state. In this state, the bolts 33 passed through the round holes 15 of the recessed part side base members 9, 11 are movable within the range of the elongate holes 31, and the recessed part side base members 9, 11 are thereby slidable in a lateral direction and fixable in optional positions.
