WATER-BASED GRAVURE INK FOR POLYSTYRENE TRAY AND LAMINATE SHEET FOR MOLDING POLYSTYRENE TRAY USING THE INK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based gravure ink for polystyrene trays excellent in heat resistance and moldability and a laminate sheet for molding polystyrene trays using the ink.

SOLUTION: The water-based gravure ink for polystyrene trays contains a core/shell type emulsion resin whose core portion is a styrene-acrylic copolymer resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 50-80°C and whose shell portion is an acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 60-80°C. The laminate sheet for molding polystyrene trays is composed of a laminate sheet for molding polystyrene trays comprising an unstretched polystyrene film layer, a printing ink layer and a polystyrene sheet layer in this order. The printing ink layer is composed of the film of the water-based gravure ink.
