<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer sheet by which damage to a transfer layer can be prevented, occurrence or sticking of dust can be minimized and satisfactory transfer can be ensured. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer sheet 10 comprises a transparent or semitransparent transfer base material 11, a releasing layer 12 formed on the transfer base material 11, a photothermal conversion transfer layer 13 which is formed on the releasing layer 12 and transfers a light shield layer with a particular pattern, holding parts for holding the transfer base material 11, and etc. The holding parts are non-transfer layer formation parts in which the photothermal conversion transfer layer 13 is not formed on the transfer base material 11.
