摘要 <p>The object is to reduce the divergence angle of light and improve the utilization rate of light by a light source composed of an illuminant and a reflecting mirror. A light source (120) comprises an illuminant (35), an ellipsoidal reflecting mirror (31), a parabolic reflecting mirror (32), and a parabolic reflecting mirror (33). The illuminant (35) is disposed at a focus of the ellipsoidal reflecting mirror (31). Part of the illuminant light from the illuminant (35) repeats reflection several times within the ellipsoidal reflecting mirror (31), whereupon it travels from an opening (36) and an opening (37) to the parabolic reflecting mirror (32), and parabolic reflecting mirror (33). The part of the illuminant light traveling to the parabolic reflecting mirror (32) and parabolic reflecting mirror (33) is reflected by the peripheral regions of the parabolic reflecting mirror (32) and parabolic reflecting mirror (33), whereby the divergence angle is reduced.</p>
