PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To navigate the wire connection between a disk device casing and a controller casing constituting a storage device. SOLUTION: The controller casing, and the disk device casing or the like are stored in a storage device casing, and the respective casings are connected by an ENC cable as shown by a broken line by a typical connection method as preparation. The controller casing is input with a wire connection information file prescribing a connection state between respective connectors. A controller turns on and blinks an LED 204 of the connector to be connected with the ENC cable on the basis of the wire connection information file in order of the wire connection. Thus, by sequentially turning on the LEDs of the connectors to be wire-connected, the controller navigates the wire connection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
