PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor devised for strongly pressing a revolving scroll to a fixed scroll, by utilizing a back pressure chamber. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor 1 has the fixed scroll 9, the revolving scroll 10 meshed with the fixed scroll 9 and making revolving motion, an upper bearing 3 supporting a lower part of the revolving scroll 10 and fixed to a housing 2, an Oldham's link mechanism 11 for allowing the revolving scroll to make the revolving motion, and the back pressure chamber formed between the revolving scroll 10 and the upper bearing 3 and maintaining high pressure. The scroll compressor is characterized by arranging a pressure transmitting member 31 in the back pressure chamber 30 for transmitting force received by a pressure receiving surface forming part 32 to the revolving scroll by a pressure transmitting part 33.
