Closure for a container with a funnel-type outlet, especially for a bulk loose material container, e.g. a silo, has a cone-shaped cap (3) which is supported on its edge (5) in the cone shaped outlet. The cone (4) of the cap is essentially coaxially aligned. The closure also comprises a flange (7) that is supported on the container and has an opening. The flange is connected to the cone by a single piece hose type spring element (13). An independent claim is made for a container for storage and discharging of bulk material with a flange of a closure element attached to its outlet.
