<p>By a flat key for a cylinder lock whose shaft comprises a longitudinal profile with longitudinal grooves (15) and/or longitudinal ribs (14) on both flat sides in section (3), whereby the longitudinal profile of the tip section (4) (tip profile) of the shaft (2) is different from the longitudinal profile of the shaft section (3) (shaft profile) and shaft (2) has in the bottom section of the tip section (4) at least one key notch (5') to control holding element (18) of pin and tip profile of the shaft (2) is slimmer than profile of the shaft (2), such that the contour of the tip profile is situated inside the contour of the shaft profile and equipped with additional grooves (24) and/or widening of existing grooves (15) and/or removal of key material of flat key (1) in the tip section (4). By a cylinder lock with lock housing (19), cylinder core (20) rotable within the same, and at least two key controlled holding element (18) of pin is envisaged at least one sensing surface (9) located within a slot between two holding element (18) of pin and aligned transverse to key channel (11) and profile (10) said sensing surface (9) is slimmer than the profile of the shaft section of the key channel (11), for sensing the tip section (4) of flat key (1).</p> |
