<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer cutter blade for an electric shaver in which hair can efficiently be introduced into slit holes, and to provide the electric shaver. <P>SOLUTION: In this electric shaver 10, the outer cutter blade 18 where the slit holes 20 are perforated as hair introduction holes is attached in a substantially inverted U shape on the cross section. Recessed parts 26 and 60 in which the side of a shaving surface 34 is recessed are adjacently provided on one or both end parts 20a in the longitudinal direction of the slit holes 20.
