PURPOSE:To improve the characteristic of a multibit D/A converter, by using plural resistances, which are connected in series between an analog output terminal and the earth, and an input circuit provided for connecting connection points of these resistances to a digital input terminal. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of the first - the third AND circuits 22, 23, and 24 become L forcibly or outputs of the first - the third NAND circuits 19, 20, and 21 become H forcibly in accordance with ''0'' or ''1'' of the MSB signal applied to the first input terminal 15, and outputs of the first - the third NAND circuits 19, 20, and 21 or the first - the third AND circuits 22, 23, and 24 become H or L by digital signals applied to the second - the fouth input terminals 16, 17, and 18, and a signal of logical level -7 --0 or +0-+7 is generated. Consequently, since the generation of distortion for a small signal is prevented, additional processes such as trimming of resistances are unnecessary, and the constitution is simplified, and the operation is made accurate. |
