PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial hinge mechanism part capable of harness wiring for enabling a cellular phone, a notebook personal computer and a remote controller for which demand for making them smaller and lighter and to provide a new function to improve durability, to make them smaller and lighter and to have a rotation limiting mechanism. SOLUTION: In a biaxial hinge, coil springs 5, 17, a protrusion-recess cam and a calking part and the like are mounted to a rotation shaft 11 and an opening closing shaft 12 to assemble a rotation shaft and an opening closing shaft torque unit part and they are attached to a hinge housing 9. As the opening torque unit is provided to either of right or left side of the hinge housing and a coreless pipe-shape shaft is adopted as the rotation shaft 11, harness (thin wire) wiring is made easy. Structured independent from rotation and the opening closing shaft, the torque unit realizes stable generation of torque and click, improvement of durability, easy part-assembly, making compact and light by reducing the number of parts and securing space by concentrated arrangement of parts.
