PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual space creating device where functions of displaying, collision detection, etc., operate normally, regardless of whether the calculating capability of a terminal that a user uses is high or low. SOLUTION: The virtual space creating device for creating a virtual space, corresponding to a depth distribution of an actual photographed picture has an execution environment information gathering means of gathering performance information for creating and displaying a virtual space; a virtual space creation parameter determining means of determining parameters for creating the virtual space, from the execution environment information gathering means; and a virtual space creating means of creating the virtual space based upon the parameters determined, by the virtual space creation parameter determining means.
