PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent movement of a paper sheet in the width direction of an upstream part of the paper sheet feeding direction when a paper feed cassette is moved vigorously in the paper sheet width direction by a simple configuration while suppressing an increase of the number of components. SOLUTION: Each stopper 40 is provided on right and left corner parts in the paper sheet feeding direction at a most-upstream part of the paper sheet feeding direction of a cassette frame 10. Each stopper is turnable around a supporting shaft 41 in an erected posture or collapsed posture. When each stopper 40 is collapsed, a paper sheet abutting part 42 is retracted downward of a bottom plate 12 inside the cassette frame 10. When the stopper is erected, the paper sheet abutting part 42 is abutted on a side face of a paper sheet bundle to prevent the movement of the paper sheet P in the width direction. When a longitudinal cursor 30 is moved to a predetermined position, a stopper abutting plate 34 of the longitudinal cursor 30 is engaged with a cursor engagement part 43 of each stopper 40, and each stopper is automatically turned in an erected condition.
