PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a network equipment specifying device between network equipment and a network to confirm that they are physically communicating with each other, and to easily specify the physical other party in communication in performing the maintenance of the specific network equipment. SOLUTION: A network equipment specifying device is connected between a network and network equipment, and a network packet to be transmitted/received is analyzed. In analysis, a transmission origin address is stored, and a transmission destination address is displayed from transmission data, and when the stored transmission origin address is compared with the transmission destination address in the reception data, and they are matched, the transmission destination address is displayed.
