PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-precision inspection of the internal pressure of a can packed with a content and sealed. SOLUTION: This is a method for inspecting the internal pressure of the can, and the internal pressure of the can is inspected based on echo sounds from the can 25 when forced excitation below is performed, by making the can 25 packed with the content and sealed upside down so that a space 25a may be formed on the side of the bottom part 27 of the inside of the can 25, and causing the radial-direction center part 28 of the bottom part 27 to excite forcedly by electromagnetic induction action.
