PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated state inspection apparatus for inspecting an entire coated region by using infrared thermal cameras, and can be manufactured inexpensively without making the configuration of the apparatus complex. SOLUTION: The coated state inspection apparatus comprises a control unit 5 for specifying the position of a nozzle 3 for coating a material 1 to be coated with a coating agent 2, the infrared thermal camera 6 for capturing a heat wave image around the coated position of the coating agent applied onto the material to be coated, and an image processor 7 for capturing an image in a prescribed range at the front in a prescribed distance and at the rear in a prescribed distance to the advance direction of the nozzle, based on the nozzle position specification information in images captured by the infrared thermal camera 6. The images before and after the nozzle 3 passes at the same position of the material 1 to be coated are compared.
