<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow rod supporting device which reduces stress exerted on the rear end portion of a hollow rod mounted with a bit for opening mud filled into an opening of a blast furnace, and which thereby prevents troubles due to the breakage of the hollow rod at the rear end portion, the breakage of a shank rod and a sleeve, or the like and which further enables the hollow rod to be easily removed at a screw part by reversely rotating the shank rod after opening work. <P>SOLUTION: The hollow rod supporting device is provided in an opening device 8 for a blast furnace. The opening device 8 is configured in such a manner that: the shank rod 5 is arranged in an opening machine 4 supported by a machine frame toward the opening in the blast furnace; the hollow rod 6 is connected with the end 5' of the shank rod 5; and the opening bit 7 is arranged at the end 6' of the hollow rod 6, In the opening device, the shank rod 5 and the hollow rod 6 are connected together through the sleeve 9 on the common center line c, and the body of the sleeve 9 is freely slidably fitted in the inside of the opening machine 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
