<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce print errors due to the insufficiency of the internal memory of a printer, and to lighten the burden of re-setting of resources on a user. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor 100 generates a resource table to manage the storable capacity of the internal memory (RAM 156 etc.) of the printer 150 where resources such as a font necessary for print processing are downloaded and temporarily stored and sizes, importance, etc., of the resources stored in the storage device. When a print request to the printer 150 is made, the information processor 100 decides whether the necessary resources can be downloaded to the storage device according to the sizes of the necessary resources and the storable capacity.
