PRESCRIPTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND IC CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report the receipt of a medicine according to an insurance prescription by a patient to a doctor from an insurance pharmacist who issued the medicine.

SOLUTION: This system comprises a prescription management device 10 for managing the insurance prescription; a medical institute terminal device 20 set in a medical institute; and a pharmacy terminal device 30 set in an insurance pharmacy or the like. When a patient receives a medicine based on a prescription in the insurance pharmacy or the like, the receipt of the medicine by the patient is reported to the medical institute which issued the insurance prescription.
