PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting apparatus of a rotation angle such as rotation angle detection of steering of vehicles, which hardly causes detection errors with high detecting accuracy. SOLUTION: The detecting apparatus of the rotation angle is constructed by the magnets 14 and 15 placed on the center of the first detected body 12 and the second detected body 13, respectively, setting the N and the S pole of, at least, one magnet at its upper and lower surfaces reversely, where magnetic force emitting laterally from and receiving laterally at the side face of both magnets is weakened resulting from that magnetic lines of force from N pole on the upper and the lower surface are drawn into S pole on the lower and the upper surface, respectively, and, therefore, impact on the direction of magnetic lines of force between multiple detecting devices is reduced, so that the detecting apparatus of rotation angle is obtained with fewer detection errors and with high detecting accuracy.
