PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper pivot capable of positively fixing a waterproof cap to a pivot holder at a proper position. SOLUTION: This wiper pivot 2 is equipped with a pivot holder 4 and a waterproof cap 6. The waterproof cap 6 has an engagement fixing part 25 engaged with an engaged part 24 formed on the pivot holder 4 and restraining an axial movement of a pivot shaft 8 under a condition that a cylinder part 30 is mounted to a main body 28. The engagement fixing part 25 has an engagement piece 25b provided with an engaging part 25a capable of being elastically deformed in a direction for disengaging from the engaged part 24 and engaged with the engaged part 24 by a recovering force of elastic deformation, and a restraining member 25c limiting elastic deformation of the engagement piece 25c within a predetermined deformation volume.
