PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a support in a sun visor for a vehicle capable of easily manufacturing the plurality of supports having different angular positions of engaging surfaces against axial rotation by using a common forming die. SOLUTION: By this manufacturing method of the support in the sun visor for the vehicle, the support 30 is manufactured having an engaging surface 41 corresponding to a spring member 20 provided in a sun visor body 11 and in the central part of which a lengthy metallic pipe 35 is internally provided, and a short metallic outer layer body 40 having the engaging surface 41 is prepared. The metallic outer layer body 40 is fastened to the outer peripheral surface of the metallic pipe 35 by aligning the engaging surface 41 of the metallic outer layer body 40 at a specified angular position of the outer peripheral surface of the metallic pipe 35. Thereafter, the support 30 is manufactured by forming a resin made outer layer shaft body 36 to cover the outer periphery of the metallic pipe 35 by filling a resin material in forming dies 60, 61 after positioning and setting the metallic pipe 35 having the metallic outer layer body 40 in the forming dies 60, 61.
