A roof anchor includes a body having a first leg adapted to conform to a first slope of a first member of a roof truss and a second leg adapted to conform to a second slope of a second member of the roof truss. A first hook is positioned along a lower peripheral edge of the first leg. The first hook is adapted to wrap around a bottom and two opposed sides of the first member. A second hook is positioned along a lower peripheral edge of the second leg. The second hook is adapted to wrap around a bottom and two opposed sides of the second member. Any shear force in either direction is resisted either the first hook or the second hook.
