<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food container directly heated from below, in which a food, such as Gyoza, can be fried preferably without getting scorched. <P>SOLUTION: The food container has a food storage part 1 for storing a food, and a liquid storage part 2 for storing water around the food storage part 1. Both the food storage part 1 and the liquid storage part 2 are formed integrally of an aluminum sheet. The bottom of the food storage part 1 is provided with an oil coating layer 3, and the top of the food storage part 1 and liquid storage part 2 are covered with a lid 4.
