PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of taking an enclosed drip-proof structure or waterproof structure, or an explosion-proof structure having no danger of short circuit between terminals. SOLUTION: A nickel-cadmium battery pack 1 comprises an output coil 2 arranged to be incorporated in a handy terminal 60 while facing an input coil 65 generating an AC magnetic field when the nickel-cadmium battery pack 1 is fixed to the handy terminal 60, a constant current circuit 12 for feeding the output current from a nickel-cadmium battery 14 as the DC power dependent on the state of the nickel-cadmium battery 14, an inverter circuit 11 consisting of an oscillator and a switch (not shown) for converting the DC power generated from the constant current circuit 12 into an AC power, and a switch section 10 arranged to face a permanent magnet 64 incorporated in the handy terminal 60 when the nickel-cadmium battery pack 1 is fixed to the handy terminal 60.
