PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive retry control method in a data storage device capable of suitably controlling data retry operation. SOLUTION: The data retry control method is characterized by having: a step S310 for measuring and updating the temperature of the data storage device; a step S320 for judging whether or not to migrate to the retry mode; a step S330 for deciding the retry routine corresponding to the updated temperature from among two or more pre-set retry routines when judged to migrate to the retry mode; and a step S340 for re-setting a parameter based on the decided retry routine and performing read/write operation of data.
