PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw actuator which can reduce its size and weight, and also can reduce its cost. SOLUTION: The ball screw actuator 1 comprises an electric motor 2, a motor shaft 7 inserted into the electric motor 2, a ball screw spindle 3 arranged so as to be concentric with the motor shaft 7, and a ball screw nut 4 which is engaged with the ball screw spindle 3 via balls and has a pair of engaging pins 10 arranged on the outer peripheral surface thereof so as to protrude and face to each other. The ball screw actuator 1 transmits the axial movement of the ball screw nut 4 to a driving shaft 6 as a rotational movement via a rocking link 5 engaged with the engaging pins 10. The ball screw spindle 3 is provided so as to be integrated with one end portion of the motor shaft 7. The ball screw spindle 3 is rotatably supported in a cantilever shape by means of a pair of rolling bearings 8, 9 built in the electric motor 2.
