PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material presenting unforeseen aesthetic appearance and increased in workability, waterproof function, heat isolation function, dew condensation prevention function, and snow retaining function. SOLUTION: In this roof material A, a fall-in type male-female connection structure is formed at the lateral side edge thereof. The underwater side tip of the decorative surface 4 of the roof material A is projected to the underwater side to be formed in an L-shape so as to form a projected piece 4a, and the projected piece 4a is partially bent to form a recessed and projected part 4b.
