MEDICAL MATERIAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low medicament-adsorbent medical material with excellent blood compatibility, and a method of manufacturing the same.

SOLUTION: The medical material is made of a polymer including a hydroxilated soft segment as a component. The medical material is manufactured by the method comprising a process of bringing the polymer including the hydroxilated soft segment as a component into contact with a solution with mixture of a complex including diborane and tetrahydrofuran and ketone, a process of bringing the polymer into contact with the aqueous solution of hydroxylated metal salt and the aqueous solution of peroxide, and a process of washing the polymer with water.
