PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform AF (Auto Focus) control by dividing a display means into a plurality of areas without being restricted by the number of existing keys. SOLUTION: In this composite equipment, a main display part 102 is divided into divided areas A to L as shown in (a). When, for example, a key [1] is operated in this state, the image part of an object existing in the divided area A is made to be focused. However, when the key [1] is pressed for an elongated period, the divided area A corresponding to the key [1] is further divided into 12 equal areas A-1 to A-12 as mentioned above as shown in (b). When one of ten keys 113 is pressed for a short period in this state, AF control is performed by making a finely divided area corresponding to the ten-key which is pressed for a short period an AF area. In short, when, for example, a key [#] is operated in this example, AF control is performed so that the image part of the object existing in a corresponding finely divided area A-12 is made to be focused.
