PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise eliminator for a fuel tank easy to be mounted to the fuel tank, largely projected to the inside of the tank when it is mounted on the inner wall of the fuel tank and capable of enhancing a noise eliminating effect. SOLUTION: This noise eliminator is inserted through an opening 12 of the fuel tank 10 and fixed on the inner wall of the fuel tank 10. It is provided with a buffle 50 having at least a first noise eliminating portion 52 and a second noise eliminating portion 54 connected to be freely folded through a hinge 70, a clip 14 to fix the first noise eliminating portion on the inner wall of the fuel tank and a shape regulating member 30 to hold the first noise eliminating portion and the second noise eliminating portion in a state of being bent in an L letter shape. The first noise eliminating portion and the second noise eliminating portion are made pass through the opening of the fuel tank in a state of being folded at the hinge, fixed on the inner wall with the clip in a extended form in the fuel tank and held in the L-shape by the shape regulating member 30.
