<p>The traffic loading optimization method has a distribution weighting (w(j,k1,D), w(j,k2,D), w(j,k3,D)) assigned to each of the outgoing communications links extending from each communications network node (j) with a number of alternative routing paths, the weightings adjusted relative to one another dependent on the individual traffic loadings of the outgoing communications links, for uniform traffic loading distribution. An independent claim for a communications network router with a computer program for traffic loading optimization is also included.</p> |
