The hinge has a jaw (1) to hold a door or window pane, which is mounted on a hinge axis (2). The hinge axis is supported by at least one bearing (8) fixed to a base plate (3). The hinge also has devices to lock the door or window pane in a rest position. The devices have lock pieces, which are fixed to the jaw or the base plate. One of the lock pieces (5) is rotatably mounted. The lock pieces are formed to provide a positive co-operation in the rest position. The lock has devices (18,19,22) to nonrotatably connect the hinge axis to the rotatably lock piece. The lock also has devices (9,9',10,10') to prevent rotation of the hinge axis in its bearing.
